Jason's Story
Jason Stiteler was someone who believed in helping others. If you knew him you knew he gave his money away faster than he could make it. It’s who he was.
As a teen who struggled with mental health, he decided to build his career around helping those with similar struggles. But in 2021 he tragically lost his life when he was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while walking in front of his residence. It’s in his honor that Jason’s Race was created.

Our Mission
Our mission is to continue the work of kindness — the work Jason would have done. We do this by funding mental health counseling programs for young people. These are young people whose families are truly struggling, both financially and emotionally.

The Work
Your donations directly fund our mental health scholarship program for young people. It’s licensed professional counseling that addresses not just the emotional aspects, but relational, financial, physical, and spiritual pillars in a patient’s life.

Relaying Kindness
Onward
Life is a race — it’s a journey we all run. And it’s our duty as a community to help each other along the way.
That’s why with Jason’s Race, we ask donors to pledge an act of kindness with every donation. It's whatever act of kindness that inspires you — you could volunteer at a community center, visit a children’s hospital, or even run in a charity 5k. Then send us your kindness story and we'll share it with our community.
